A catholic priest in Italy has been accused of organising orgies and pimping out women.
Father Andrea Contin, who has a parish in Padua, Veneto, is being investigated by Italian police who allegedly seized videos showing orgies on San Lazzaro church property, according to the Times.
Authorities also reportedly confiscated sex toys in the raid that was sparked when three female parishioners complained.
Father Contin, 48, also allegedly hid porn videos in containers that had the names of popes written over them.
The Catholic priest pimped out several of the women he was said to have slept with, it was claimed.
He allegedly handed them off to men he found on wife-swapping sites.
‘There were a lot of women hovering around him. I didn’t understand that at first, only later,’ a 49-year-old volunteer at the church who allegedly had an affair with the priest told Il Mattino di Padova.
She added they had sex in the rectory.
Father Contin is also alleged to have visited swingers’ resorts and naturist retreats in France with his lovers.
Church authorities reportedly failed to notify police when they initially received complaints last summer.
The priest has been suspended from his role in the church but has yet to be arrested.
