Everything you need to know about ZimFest 2017

This year’s Zimfest is just around the corner and high riding musician Jah Prayzah is the headline act at the festival to be held on Saturday 19 August at Kempton Park Racecourse in Surrey, UK.

Other musical acts set to perform include Zee Guveya and The Heritage Survival Band, Evicted, Ard Matthews and Ceemunye, Alex Humberstone, Mixolis, Musiq Avenue, Petite Deejay, Nic Fourie, JP Kairo, Kelvin Soul Supreme S, Kojo, DJ Field, Welly Tee, Big Nero, Lady G2, King Alfred, DJ Marshall.

This year the headline sponsor of the festival is Econet through their Cassava Remit and Ecocash Wallet brands. Other partners include World Remit, Senditoo and Diaspora Funeral Cash Plan.

Location

This year, ZimFest Live will be held at Kempton Park Racecourse, Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. The site has over 200 acres of flat grassland surrounded by woodland and 2 lakes. It is located 16 miles south-west of London, is close to Heathrow airport and so within easy reach by public transport or car.

Getting There

By Rail

Kempton Park Racecourse boasts its own train station on site – Kempton Park – which is situated 200 yards from the north entrance. Trains run every half an hour directly from London Waterloo with the journey time being just 40 minutes.

By Car

Kempton Park is located on the A308 between Sunbury-on-Thames and Hampton Court, less than one mile from junction 1 of the M3 via junction 12 of the M25.

By Air

We are just 25 minutes from London Heathrow and approximately 45 minutes from Gatwick Airports.

Tiered Tickets

The tiered ticket system allows you to be rewarded with discounted tickets by making your purchase early. It also helps us to balance supply and demand.

There are 4 tiers each with an allocated number of tickets for adults only. Once a tier is sold out, we can only sell tickets in the subsequent tier. Sign up to our newsletter so that we can keep you posted on ticket availability.

Teens

Teen (aged 13-17) tickets should be purchased based on the child’s age as of 19 August 2017.

Teen Tickets can only be purchased with an Adult Ticket.

Under 13s

Entry is free for those under 13.

Children 0-4 years do not need a ticket, and 5-12 years will need a Child Ticket.

Anyone under the age of 18 attending the festival must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 21 or above as of 19 August 2017 (one parent or guardian for every 3 people under the age of 18)

VIP

VIP tickets are now on sale. If you have already purchased a ticket and you want the VIP treatment, don’t worry – you can upgrade. Here’s what you get:

Parking Permits

Parking permits must be purchased in addition to the general entry tickets. We advise you to buy these online as early as possible for the cheapest rate. No unauthorised vehicles will be allowed on site.
