Johannesburg –  A man accused of raping a domestic worker and forcing her to perform acts of bestiality, is expected to appear in the Bronkhorstspruit Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

The 45-year-old man made his first appearance in court on October 26.

According to reports, he was arrested for allegedly raping his domestic worker and forcing her to perform sexual acts with his dog.

Last week, Gauteng police said the incident happened in Riamar Park, Bronkhorstspruit on October 23.

The DA has said their members in Tshwane will picket outside the court in solidarity with the victim and all other women whose rights are violated.

“The DA condemns dehumanising acts of this nature and we call for justice to be done. Sexual abuse has no place in our communities,” the party said.
