Civil society organisations in the electoral process have called upon the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission to complete the on-going biometric voter registration (BVR) process and ensure all eligible voters are registered.
Speaking at a press briefing in the capital, Zimbabwe Electoral Support Network chairperson, Andrew Makoni said ZEC should complete the on-going process of registering all eligible voters to ensure a complete voters’ role as it is important in improving efficiency of the electoral management body.
The BVR process which is being done in phases entered the third phase last week with more than 2 million people having been registered in the previous phases.
