Nelson Chamisa blasts Mnangagwa President cabinet

The Movement for Democratic Change vice president Nelson Chamisa has urged youths to take charge in the looming 2018 elections following the much anticipated cabinet by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Many Zimbabwean were anticipating to see new blood in Mnangagwa’s cabinet but were left a disappointed lot after the same old politicians were recycled.

Chamisa said via tweeter “The so called “new cabinet” is the new old and old new. The ‘new’ old president has not renewed.

Command Cabinet, Command politics Command elections, Command agriculture & Command economics a not indicators of a New Zim & New Beginning. Young pole take charge!”

Another commentator Travor Ncube said the President’s cabinet is very disappointing as he seemed to reward those who brought him to power.

“President Mnangagwa’s Cabinet is very disappointing.Largely the same people that caused this crisis have been recycled. The homey moon comes to an end and reality dawns.

“His concern seems to have rewarding those who brought him to power and Zanu-PF unity, “he tweeted

Meanwhile, President Mnangagwa appointed a 22 member cabinet yesterday in a move that saw some line ministries with functional duplications being merged.
