Harare-Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Sekai Nzenza who has been sucked into the National Social Services Authority (NSSA) corruption scandal has refuted the allegations as ‘nonsensical’.

This comes after Norton legislator Temba Mliswa sensationally claimed that Nzenza was in hiding fearing arrest following her implication in a scandal that has seen her predecessor and now Tourism Minister Priscah Mupfumira was arrested by Zacc on Thursday last week over NSSA corruption allegations.

“I am not dwelling on nonsensical stories. I have a mandate to deliver to the public to ensure that money entrusted to NSSA is managed properly within best practised governance those are weekend stories. Weekend social media stories that people enjoy, share and circulate. I have no time to dwell on that. There are bigger matters at stake to protect interests of the people” she charged

NSSA board chairperson Cuthbert Chidoori said the forensic audit report into the embattled body will be released this week.
