Elton MupaukaHarare- Opposition MDC Alliance national deputy chairperson, Job Sikhala who has been in ‘hiding’ since the end of July has been arrested.
His party confirmed the latest developments on MDC Alliance twitter handle without elaborating more.
“#Breaking MDC Alliance Vice Chairman Job Sikhala has been arrested. He is attending the police station with his lawyer. Detail to follow” confirmed the party
It could not be established as to where and how he was arrested. Sikhala has been in hiding since the end of last month and was part of a group of political activists calling for the 31 July anti- demonstrations.
He has been posting videos on social media castigating President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s administration.
