Welshman Ncube, the deputy president of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), has distances him self from Naked protester Gugu Ncube.
The 38-year-old Gugu Ncube plead to the United Nations to intervene in her alleged sexual abuse case. She accused the University of South Africa of (Unisa) and the police of covering up a sexual harassment report she filed against her boss at the Unisa Centre for Early Childhood Education (Ucece), where her employment was terminated. She claimed that she did not resign from her employment but was “thrown out of work like a rotten pig.”

However, Welshman Ncube has said he is not the father to Gugu Ncube the woman who was arrested for public indecency after her protest at the Union Building in Pretoria.
“I don’t know this woman. I read somewhere she was born in 1981. I was in high school at Mzilikazi in 1980 when she was conceived and very much in love with a girl I thought I would go on and marry. Her mother is not known to me, there’s just no conceivable possibility she could be my daughter,” Said MDC deputy president.
A close friend to Gugu Ncube who spoke to Report Focus News said “Gugu is not mentally stable and is an attention seeker my guess is she knows fully well that Welshman Ncube is not her father but she does not care at all about attaching herself to him and tarnishing Welshman Ncube’s name. Gugu was on SABC TV praising Emmerson Mnangagwa after his supposed win of the disputed presidential elections in Zimbabwe, I doubt very much that she is Welshman Ncube’s daughter.”
Gugu Ncube has accused several men of raping and sexually abusing her.
