British police have named the man who rammed a car into security barriers outside the Houses of Parliament in the capital, London, on Tuesday as Salih Khater.
A man suspected of carrying out a terrorist attack outside the Houses of Parliament has been named as 29-year-old Sudanese immigrant Salih Khater.
The suspect is not believed to have been known to MI5 or counter-terrorism police, but is understood to have been known to local police.
Scotland Yard said the attacker drove around London for hours before the crash and arrived in the capital just after midnight before the horrifying scenes unfolded at about 7.40am.
Two people were taken to hospital after the crash and later discharged while a third was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
